People’s National Party (PNP) presidential candidate Mark Golding says generally, he is pleased with the conduct of Comrades during the campaign for presidency.
Golding, the St Andrew South MP is facing off with Lisa Hanna, the PNP treasurer and St Ann South Eastern MP.
This morning, Golding voted at the Mico University College in St Andrew.
He said he was confident of victory.
“We have done our work, we have run a respectful campaign, we’ve been stressing the need for unity and I am pleased with how people have been behaving for the most part,” Golding said.
Persistent showers have not impacted the turnout of supporters in Kingston and St Andrew.
PNP General Secretary Julian Robinson said the results will be available by 5 o'clock this afternoon.
