Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) candidate for Manchester Central Rhoda Crawford has her eyes fixed on the seat of Member of Parliament.
Crawford rolled out early this morning in confidence.
"Once selected at the close of polls, I intend to stay with my people to be on the ground. The work starts tomorrow," she said.
The first-timer is confident in the support she has been receiving from her constituents and believes it is enough to carry her through.
"From very early, we have been sensitising our supporters as we move daily in our house to house campaign. We have done a series of social media adverts and made use of the digital space," she said.
The Manchester Central seat is being closely watched as voters surmise a small margin, similar to the 2011 general election which saw JLP losing by just over 500 votes.
