A former vice president of the People's National Party Youth Organisation (PNPYO) has declared that no wanted men will be found at any of the party's mass meetings.

The comments by Marlon Elliott were in reference to the shooting incident that marred the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP's) mass meeting in Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay last Sunday.

Three persons were killed, including a man who the police say was wanted in connection with several crimes.

Several days later, a JLP motorcade came under gunfire in the St James community of Flanker in what investigators believe was a reprisal incident.

The two main parties have since decided to end campaigning in Flanker.

Addressing a PNP mass rally in Junction, St Elizabeth last night Elliott said persons looking to lead the country must have integrity.

According to him, the PNP has decent law-abiding citizens.
