#JaVotes2016: Holness Navigates Through PNP Traffic In St Andrew Eastern

Some People's National Party (PNP) supporters are now acting as traffic police along Greater House Boulevard as residents try to get in and out of that community in Mona, St Andrew.

One person who had to navigate his way through the throng of PNP supporters to get out of the community was Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Leader Andrew Holness.

Holness and his security team had to slowly make their way through the scores of flag-waving supporters converged in front of the Mona High School.

One resident trying to make her way home accidentally stopped her vehicle on the shoes of a PNP supporter.

Others quickly came to her assistance and directed the female resident to reverse.

A senior police officer on duty there said plans were put in place to control the crowd but indicated that the turnout was more than expected.

The PNP candidate for St Andrew Eastern Andre Hylton is there to hand in his nomination papers.

He is being challenged by the JLP's candidate Fayval Williams
