Long before Dr Peter Phillips, the People's National Party (PNP's) campaign director and his challenger, the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP's) Beverly Prince were scheduled to be nominated in East Central St Andrew, the supporters were out.

So too was a set of flags along Molynes Road and adjoining areas, in open defiance of political ombudsman, Donna Parchment Brown's instructions.

Already, a massive motorcade of Phillips' supporters is forming along Lyndhurst Road, hindering the usual flow of morning traffic.

Phillips is scheduled to be nominated at 11 and Prince, an hour later at midday.
