Flag-waving People's National Party (PNP) supporters, led by the party's candidate for St Andrew South Eastern, Julian Robinson, have converged in front of Campion College on Old Hope Road, St Andrew.

The gathering has created a traffic pile-up along the usually busy thoroughfare, forcing Robinson and the police to plead with the supporters to remain on the sidewalk.

Robinson, who is the junior minister for Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, is expected to soon enter the school to be nominated to contest the February 25 general elections.

He is being challenged by the Jamaica Labour Party's Dr Charlton Collie.
