Shaw delivers 'Cash Pot rake' for the 25th as election date

The Opposition spokesman on Finance Audley Shaw on Sunday night riled up thousands of Labourites crammed in Sam Sharpe Square as he made fun of the recent 'John Crow' utterance by National Security Peter Bunting saying it could be a Cash Pot hint.

"You know what Peter Bunting called Labourites di odda day?  Him call you John Crow!" Shaw said.

"But guess what? A man inna Christiana tell mi last night fi tell you don't mind, because you see 25, inna Cash Pot, a John Crow," Shaw said evoking a vuvuzela blowing and cheers.

Shaw further fuelled the fun saying it's the very John Crows who would be voting on Election Day, February 25 to remove Bunting and his PNP colleagues.

JLP general secretary, Dr. Horace Chang, who had spoken about an hour before Shaw, said the JLP would be buoyed by young voters who will push his party to power.

"They say young people don't like to vote. But they going see in North West St. James," he said.

"Make every vote count; no time to waste; no time to argue and grumble,"  he said.

Chang also branded the PNP as an organisation of talkers and non-performers, made up of mainly "professional politicians and lawyers".
