White out ... PNP standard bearer In North Trelawny steps down

JP White, the embattled prospective candidate for the People's National Party (PNP) for North Trelawny has stepped down.

Comrades in the constituency had been rejecting White as their standard bearer.

Pressure mounted yesterday when it was revealed that his company Equilibrio Solutions Jamaica owed some $17 million in taxes.

PNP General Secretary Paul Burke says White voluntarily stepped down.
