Outgoing People's National Party (PNP) Member of Parliament, Damion Crawford, and the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) Juliet Holness are to meet to discuss their plans for the East Rural St Andrew constituency.

Holness, who is the wife of the Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, took up an invitation offered by Crawford on the social media site Twitter.

Crawford said he wants to explain programmes already underway and possible difficulties that Holness may face in executing her plans.

Holness responded positively saying they should set a date to discuss their plans.

Crawford told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre last night that a date has not yet been set for the meeting.

Dozens of followers of the two politicians commended them for their "maturity".

The planned discussion between the two comes weeks after Crawford criticisedHolness for comments critical of his programmes in the constituency.

Meanwhile, Crawford says he has met on at least three occasions with Imani Duncan Price, who replaces him as the PNP's representative for the next general elections.
