Backed by a catchy new tune, Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Leader Andrew Holness on Thursday night urged Labourites in South East St Elizabeth to bid Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller good bye.

Like a disc jockey at a dancehall session Holness egged on the crowd.

He declared that the people should sing "Bye Portia bye bye" for the plethora of broken promises.

According to Holness, Simpson Miller is in the departure lounge because her brand of politics is outdated.

The JLP leader seemed to be in fine mettle as he told supporter’s that piling taxes should elicit the tune “bye bye Portia bye bye.”

He also cited the deaths of 19 babies at two hospitals and the Outameni scandal as reasons Simpson Miller should be bade farewell.

Additionally, Holness said the Prime Minister had a "habit" of protecting negligent ministers of her administration.

"She only protect the PNP over the people of Jamaica," declared Holness. "And for that you must say ... " the crowd chimed in:  "Bye bye Portia bye bye."
