Several people eligible to vote in the Manchester North East constituency have left the polling station at the Christiana High school frustrated at the fact that their names were not on the voters' list.
Having been informed by electoral workers to visit neighbouring polling stations some of the persons decided to return home.
"I'm going home, I really can't be bothered, can't walk up and down now looking which list my name is on and where that list is," said one woman.
When questioned why she had failed to visit the Electoral Office of Jamaica office or the website for the information she said she had no idea it could be found online and visiting the office would have been a challenge.
The North East Manchester constituency is expected to be close contest.
Sitting Member of Parliament, Audley Shaw of the Jamaica Labour Party, is being challenged by the People's National Party's Valenton Wint.
