The People's National Party (PNP) is expressing satisfaction with election activities so far.

PNP campaign spokesman, Delano Franklyn, told members of the media that the party has received reports of tension in some areas, but nothing to mar the electoral process.

According to Franklyn, based on what the PNP is seeing on the ground, the party is more convinced that it is poised for another victory.

"Nothing for us to worry about and the PNP is looking good,” Franklyn told The Gleaner a short while ago.

Already, the party has started to construct a stage at the its Old Hope Road headquarters where it expects its president Portia Simpson Miller to deliver her victory address.

Traffic is now being diverted from a section of Old Hope Road which is blocked at its intersection with Stanton Terrace and Mountain View Avenue.
